Challenge
The smart home market is crowded with solutions that feel cold, complex, and distant. The challenge was to build a brand that broke away from that entirely: warm, intuitive, and close to the people using it, with a name that works across cultures and languages.
Solution
The concept of approachable smartness became the foundation. A brand where technology quietly recedes, leaving room for living. The name Roomi nods to "room" and to Rumi, the Persian poet, making it familiar, easy to say, and easy to trust across cultures. The identity system followed the same principle, keeping the human experience front and center. The brand has since been deployed across residential developments in the UAE.
